The computer only needs a browser. You Allow each device.
Gallery
Browse phone photos and videos by date or folder from the computer browser.
Files
Browse storage, download, zip, and manage files the app is allowed to see.
Upload
Send files from the computer into Download/LocalLink on the phone.
Transfers
Watch progress. Pause, resume, or cancel from the phone or the browser.
PIN + Allow
Every computer waits until you Allow it. Optional PIN on shared networks.

There is no LocalLink file cloud. Crash reports stay off until you turn them on. Traffic is local HTTP — use a PIN on shared Wi‑Fi.
Questions
Does this work over the internet?
No. Phone and computer must be on the same Wi‑Fi, or the computer joins the phone hotspot.
Are files uploaded to a cloud?
File transfer stays on your Wi‑Fi or hotspot. There is no LocalLink account or LocalLink file cloud. Optional crash reports, if you turn them on, go to Sentry.
Why is the link http:// not https://?
The phone serves a local HTTP page by design. Use the current QR or link from the phone. On shared Wi‑Fi, set a PIN and Allow only computers you trust.
The PC cannot open the page.
Stay on the same network. Guest Wi‑Fi often blocks device-to-device traffic — use the phone hotspot. Turn off VPN. Scan the QR again if the IP changed.
